I used Photoshop. Using layers to color it and the smudge tool for the shadows in the bottle and the flash reflection. I applied a filter to some of the shadow smudge layers called "plastic wrap" which helped but wasn't exactly what I wanted. The table is just a radial gradient and the bottle shadow is a fuzzy dark grey brush and a fuzzy light grey for the light shining through the neck.
I feel like you have given life to the still life. I should be able to touch the bottle and my finger would poke into it. It has a sense of completeness to it. I would love to have seen maybe one other object of a different texture to contrast the bottle. Cool.-Brenna

ReplyDeleteWell it came out really cool, you got the lighting spot on! And it successfully looks like a clear glass bottle with red liquid in it.
